Let’s get right to the point.  Your mindset is your profitability.  That’s right.  If you are in a healthy informed and receptive head space you will make progress in your business.

For years I thought I should start a business.  I longed to build something valuable that could serve others and nourish my creativity.  I could see myself running a company and working towards something great.  But I didn’t do it for decades!  Why??  Because I was afraid.  I was afraid I couldn’t make it work.  How would running a business affect my kids and family time?  Not to mention, I know squat about business taxes, payroll, marketing; the list goes on and on and is too extensive to type.

I assume you have either started a business or are thinking about starting a business.  No matter which side of the fence you are on, I’m here to tell you to get out of your head and do what needs to be done!!!

My husband and I did start our company.  Nothing magical changed in my circumstances.  Oh- and we kept the kids.  We felt like it was the right thing to do 🙂 What did change was my mindset.  The same shift in thinking is true for you.

What if  you can’t figure out your business taxes?  That’s okay!  Hire someone who can do them for you or purchase software that can help you.  Don’t have money?  Well it’s only a matter of time before your revenue increases.  In the meantime, get a micro loan, or search for a small business grant.  There are numerous (legal)  ways to hustle up some capital.  Can’t build a website or create a logo?  Check highly rated outsourcing sites such as ours (visit www.sowl.com).

Shameless plug but oh so worth it!!  Find and hire the talent you need.

I could go on and on.  The point is, it’s all about your mindset.  Instead of saying, ” I can’t, or I don’t know how” say, “I wonder how I can make that happen”.   By the way, this works in life in general.  And remember when you have done all you can and you still don’t have an answer, just Google it.  Seriously, Google saves lives 🙂 !

We are not the first to struggle in business.  Someone out there has been where we are trying to go.   They have left clues in books and articles and podcasts.  Keep searching until you get the answers you need.  Quitting is not an option but changing your mindset is!
