How amazing is it to be invited to new and exciting places? I was recently invited to guest blog on a site called The Broken Butterfly. Their name is cool and their story is even cooler. Though I feel like a trustworthy guide on this tour of The Broken Butterfly, I think it’s best that you hear it straight from them:
The Broken Butterfly tells the story of sixth grader, Adelaide Harris who isn’t an ordinary girl. Her odd tics and repetitive behaviors make her an easy target for bullies. If people could only understand the strange, scary, intrusive thoughts that drive her quirks and oddities maybe they would cut her a break. Maybe she would cut herself a break!
An unlikely friendship with a broken butterfly leads her on a journey of accepting what is imperfect in herself and others and to a refreshing realization that perhaps ordinary isn’t so great after all.
Be curious and check out their site. It’s well worth your time!
Oh yeah, did I mention (again) that I wrote a little article for them called Great Writing Involves a Little Crazy? The best and budding authors know that writing involves risk. Putting yourself out there isn’t easy. This article is poised to help you find your writing voice and muster the courage to use it. When you are done here, head over to The Broken Butterfly. Be sure to leave a comment and let them know I sent you:) The link is below. See soon, Kim
As always, I wish you unshakable faith, wealth beyond measure, and laughter till it hurts. Peace!
