Highs:

Hmmm…Are there any highs to report? Well, I guess we can celebrate the fact that my weight is stable at the moment. I also recognize that I have tons of energy and no current body aches. I’m profoundly grateful for all of this. I do believe that what I’m eating is directly correlated to how I’m feeling. Do you find the same to be true for you?

Lows:

My lows have been reduced to one key issue. My weight didn’t budge this week. I’d be lying if I said I’m okay with that. I’m not jumping through all these hoops to get lackluster results and permanent fat storage on my thighs! I want to progress. This week there was no progress.

Real Life

So, what when wrong, you ask? I went wrong. The better word might be I went rogue. I adhered to the plan about 50 percent of the time. The other 50 percent was spent consuming oil-free bread and cereals. I feel like a toad for screwing this week up. I have dealt with some minor craving over the past month, but this week was so extra. All I could think about was bread and simple processed carbs.

Who fantasizes about French Baguettes dipped in almost anything? Me! I did. And it shows. Since I’m a woman of action, I made my fantasies a reality. And as a cautionary tale, I implore any females who crave sugar during a certain time of the month to have a plan in place. Maybe have extra fresh fruit on hand. If you are on the salty/savory side, have some air-popped popcorn available for your consumption pleasure or things will get ugly!

In Conclusion:

I was totally steamrolled by my cravings this week. I didn’t have a plan in place, nor did I invite someone to join me in accountability. Going forward I will anticipate increased sugar cravings every 28 to 30 days. Fruit will be my go-to. And I may have to invite one of my children or my husband to support me if I feel weak. Hopefully, I won’t feel a need to sit on their hog-tied bodies while scarfing down organic corn flakes. Pray for me ya’ll!
