I’m On a 30-Pound Weight Loss Journey: Did I Break My Plateau?

Highs:
I love the ease of being back into my routine. I know what to eat, and how certain foods make me feel. I eat a lot of beans these days. They keep me fuller longer without calorie overload. I’ve learned to make some delicious warming soups featuring beans of every kind. Even my kids enjoy them. Now that’s a bonus.
Lows:
Post-Covid symptoms are still lingering in my body. It’s been almost a month and I’m still now quite myself. Will I ever feel the way I did pre Covid? These nagging questions keep me up at night!
In Conclusion:
I’m making the best of it. I am grateful that I get to work from home. In between teaching classes, I get to sit down and pant for a spell. The tiredness and shortness of breath have made it challenging to work out as well. I take walk breaks around our home, doing what I can to keep in motion. I think this is affecting my weight loss. My energy has shifted to healing rather than pounds on a scale. And that’s okay with me!
