Highs:
No more Covid! I can’t think of a better high to report. Our family is on the mend. There are some lingering symptoms, but we retested and are negative. I’m back on my eating plan and hoping to resume former physical activity levels soon. Did I mention, I am now able to kiss and hug my kids and husband? Our first family embrace was loving, full of laughter and hugs so tight they left me breathless.
Lows:
I’m still dealing with some weird post-Covid tiredness A quick Google search revealed that this is normal. Thanks, Dr. Google!
In Conclusion:
Life is nearly back to normal. I have this newfound sense of peace. The thought that we have antibodies makes me feel less afraid. Prior to getting sick, I would often wonder if my body was capable of winning a battle with this mysterious virus. Now I know. As for mask-wearing, out of caution and respect, our family will remain vigilant and mask up in public.
